Christmas in November!!!

Hello everyone! The cold weather is slowly moving in, brrrrrrrrr! A reminder again to everyone to familiarize yourself with the cold weather procedures, if you are unsure ask one of the staff, we’re happy to help!!!!
The Tottenham Equestrians Award Banquet is Saturday November 20th, starting at 5pm at the Tottenham Community Centre, hope to see you there!!!!

Also a reminder to all staff, students, parents, friends, boarders etc, Gift Certficiates for a lesson or two make a wonderful Christmas present or early birthday present for our friends and family! Feel free to see Melanie or a staff member for more information!!!! Hope to see you around the barn, of course you’ll have to take a layer or two off for us to recognize you! :D

Already November!

Hi everyone! So hard to believe it’s already November! Hope everyone had a wonderful Hallowe’en! We’d like to welcome Quigley back to the barn, we know many riders are pleased to have him back for the winter! Dancer won’t be too far behind him.
Remember to dress with extra layers to keep warm with the arrival of the cold weather. Also remember to refresh yourself with the cold weather procedures for your horse. Remember to warm your bit and give your horses body adequate time to warm up before your work out.

Almost Fall!

Hi Everyone! Hope back to school has gone well for everyone! Things around the barn are slowly settling back into a routine. The show season is over for this year, congratulations to the 2010 Show Team and a big thank you to the volunteers, staff and parents for making it possible.

Don’t forget to come out and see us at the Orangeville Fair Grounds September 11th and 12th at our booth in the agricultural center, and September 18th at the barn for the Stable Tour! Check out our Stable Tour page for more detailed information… See you around the barn!

Rider Level Updates!

Congratulations to Kim Kalteis on achieving her Western Rider IV on Duke!!!! This is the highest level in western riding before moving on to coaching. Great job and best wishes on your return to school this fall!!!

Congratulations also go out to Madison Sykes, Hayley Eng, Ashley Walerhouse and Tori Allen for achieving their English Rider Level 1!

Great job to all the riders and horses! Keep up the good work and see you at the barn!

Movement at the barn!

Hi everyone! There’s been some equine movement at the barn. We would like to wish the best of luck to Jenna, Irish and Misty May who’ve all gone on to their new homes! We’ve heard from Misty May’s new owner who absolutely LOVES her and is planning on competing her soon.

There are also some new horse owners! Congratulations to Stephanie Gidge on her purchase of Abacus, Myriam Zylstra has bought Magnus, and Rebecca Davidson has bought Tia. Congrats and good luck to the new partnerships!
