Showing and Competing Absolutely anyone can compete and show with us if they wish. We have opportunities for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders from children, to youths to adults in both English and Western disciplines. We plan and practice for shows year round. In lessons and clinics, we school our horses and prepare at home. We test ourselves, review tapes and videos, practice patterns, discuss strategies and then we hit the road in May! Our students are able to show their own part-boarded horse, or they are provided with one of our excellent registered Quarter Horses. At the shows, students are coached throughout the day. Classes, patterns and courses are planned together. Students are videotaped while they warm up and ride and then are reviewed in order to improve their approach to their next class. We encourage parents and families to participate and we always have a great time together at our tents and tables with picnics and snacks. It's always a warm, friendly and fun filled environment with an emphasis on achieving personal best as well as being in the ribbons. Summer 2009 This summer our team will be attending a combination of Open Shows in English and Western, Hunter/Jumper Shows and Club shows. We will be competing from May until September, and will also attend Quarter Horse and Trillium shows for educational puposes.
